Description
The late afternoon reflections on the Virgin River at the Temple of Sinawava in Zion National Park offer some beautiful views of the red rock walls as well as the autumn hues of the surrounding trees. This very well-maintained trail leading up to the famous "Narrows" section of the canyon (where you actually hike in the water) was so peaceful and tranquil. The people I did meet coming and going were just so thrilled to be able to see it and take it all in. I knew I just wanted to get off the trail and out in the water for a different perspective. Even though the walk back with wet shoes and feet was a little uncomfortable, I enjoyed every minute of it. And in the end, that's what it's all about for me as well - another great day to be out in nature.
